Bignor Roman Villa

Bignor Roman Villa is one of the largest villas discovered so far in Great Britain with some of the finest mosaics all in situ and all under cover. Examples of such mosaics include Medusa, Ganymede and Venus and Cupid Gladiators. Visitors can see the longest mosaic on display in Great Britain, at 24 metres. You will also be given the rare opportunity to walk on original floors dating back to c.350 AD. During Bank Holidays and at weekends a number of interactive activities ensure that you get the most from your visit - try spinning wool with a drop spindle, making mosaic patterns and writing on wax tablets.

Bignor Roman Villa is open March - October. Closed Mondays through March - April, except Bank Holidays.
