Bodiam Castle
Bodiam is a perfect example of a late medieval moated castle and one of Britain's most famous and evocative heritage attractions. Visitors will be given the opportunity to explore the medieval battlements, ramparts and moat offering wonderful views across an archaeologically rich landscape. During school holidays visitors are also given the opportunity to try on armour to learn more about the history of this award-winning attraction. This year, an audio-visual presentation brings to life the fascinating story of the castle and its inhabitants, and audio interpretation explains the Second World War pill box.
Bodiam Castle is open Mon-Sun from 1 Feb to 31 Oct and Sat/Sun only from Nov '07 to 17 Feb '08.
