Borde Hill Gardens
The glorious heritage Grade II* Garden offers beauty for all seasons. Spring is heralded by magnificent magnolias, rhododendrons and azaleas, blending into summer with fragrant roses and herbaceous plants. In the autumn visitors enjoy rich colour and in the winter architectural splendour with the Victorian glasshouses offering warmth and interest.
The winner of the Historic Houses Association/Christie's 2004 'Garden of the Year' Award Borde Hill, home to the Stephenson Clarke family for over 100 years and is situated in the High Weald of Sussex, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The Garden is a plantsman's paradise, with rare trees and shrubs introduced by the great plant collectors in early 1900's mainly from the Himalayas, Andes and Tasmania.
