High Beeches Gardens
2007 is the centenary year for High Beeches. This beautiful estate includes 27 acres of magnificent woodland and water gardens, listed as ' historically outstanding'. This includes a national collection of Stewartia trees and is the only place in the UK where the willow gentian is naturalised, There are a number of special events running throughout the year. There is a licensed tearoom and restaurant which serves a delicious range of freshly prepared food including lunches, cream teas, snacks refreshments and ice-creams.
Opening times:
Opening everyday 17 March to 31 October, 1-5pm except Wednesdays
Admission:
A day ticket is £5.50 and a season ticket is £18.00, accompanied children aged 14 and under are admitted free.
Access:
Some of the paths are steep - due to the natural gradient of the land. There are plenty of benches within the garden. The restaurant and tea room is fully accessible by the disabled and has special facilities for the disabled. No dogs in the garden please, except for guide dogs.
