West Dean Gardens

West Dean GardensWest Dean is a community of artists and craftspeople, conservators and restorers, working alongside gardeners, farmers, foresters and builders. Managed by The Edward James Foundation, a charitable trust, West Dean is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty in south-east England.

West Dean Gardens has an array of interest for all visitors, including a walled kitchen garden, sunken gardens, Victorian frames and glasshouses, a walled fruit garden, and a naturalist spring garden and pond.

There are also weekend garden events throughout the year.

Summer:
Daily, 10.30am - 5.00pm 1st March to 31st October.
Last entry is 4.30pm.

Winter:
10.30am - 4.00pm, Wednesday - Sunday, 1st November to 28th February.
Lat entry is 3.30pm.

Closed during Christmas and New Year.
