Lancing College ChapelA magnificent Gothic chapel set on the South Downs, founded in 1868 and dedicated in 1911. It is the largest school chapel in the world - the height of the nave is 90ft to the apex of the vault. Perhaps the most outstanding feature is the Rose Window, dedicated by archbishop Coggan in the presence of HRH The Prince of Wales, in 1978 - at 32ft in diameter it is the largest in England. Other features include the stall canopies, the brass lectern, bronze candle sticks and fine tapestries, plus two beautiful organs.

Open daily. Mon-Sat: 10am-4pm, Sunday and Bank Holidays: 12noon-4pm.
