Rye Art Gallery and Museum
Rye Art Gallery is home to collections of national and regional significance. The permanent collection located in the Stormount Studio specialises in paintings and prints from the 19`" and 20`" centuries, but there are also drawings, photographs, sculpture and some earlier works and includes work by Vanessa Bell, Gus Cummins RA, Jacob Epstein, Duncan Grant, Roger Hilton, Ivon Hitchens, LS Lowry, John Piper, Ceri Richards and Graham Sutherland.
The Easton Room is a Crafts Council Listed Gallery, recognised nationally for its exciting, themed, selling exhibitions of work by high calibre artists and craftspeople. The Gallery shows paintings, prints, photography, drawings, glass, sculpture, ceramics, jewellery, textiles, wood and metalwork.
